Les Moss (1934-2014)
Les Moss is a club legend. He played 154 games for St Mary’s and captained the 1960 St Mary’s Premiership side.
He was club captain in 1960 & 1961, Club Best and Fairest in 1958 & 1959 and was the Reserves coach in 1962.
Les was nominated as the captain of St Mary’s Greatest Team, that was selected in May 1978.
Les also played cricket at Ferndale Park as wicket-keeper for the St Mary’s cricket team.
His brother John also played for St Mary’s and was a member of the 1964 Reserves Premiership side.

Les Moss Medal
The Les Moss Medal is donated by the Moss family, and is one of the most prized awards amongst the players.
Each week, the players in our men’s seniors, reserves and thirds cast a vote for who they believe to be the team’s most valuable player.
