Alan Martello won the ESCFA U/16 Best and Fairest in 1967 and the ESCFA U/17 Best and Fairest in 1968. In 1969 Alan won both the Club and the ESCFA A Grade Best and Fairest in 1969. He was a member of the ESCFA Representative Team in 1969, and in May 1978 was selected in St Mary's greatest team. He played over 100 games for the club from 1964-1969.

Alan Skinner - Barry Townsend

Alan Skinner played 150+ games for the club, and played in the 1960 B Grade Premiership team, and the 1964 A Reserves Premiership Team. He was selected in the back pocket in the Saints Greatest Team (selected May 1978)

Barry Townsend played 200+ games for the club and was Captain Coach of the 1964 A Reserves Premiership Team. He was Reserves Captain Coach 1963-64 and 1970, and Reserves Coach in 1975. He was selected on the half forward flank in the Saints Greatest Team (selected May 1978)

Adrian Anderson: 1976 ESCFA A Grade Best and Fairest

Adrian Anderson played 198 games for St Mary's, and played in the 1975, 1978, 1979 and 1990 Premiership Teams. He was Club captain in 1979 and won the Club Best and Fairest in 1979. He was selected on the half back flank in the Saints Greatest Team (selected May 1978). Adrian was also Runner Up in the 1978 ESCFA A Grade Best and Fairest, and in 1981 was one of five St Marys players selected in the Association Representative Team that competed in the VML Metropolitan Championships.

Rob McKenna
played 100+ games for St Mary's, and played in the 1975 and 1978 Premeiership Teams. He won the Club Best and Fairest in 1970, 1971 and 1974, was club captain-coach in 1971 and club captain in 1974. He was selected on the half forward flank in St Mary's Greatest Team (May 1978).


Adrian Papaluca and Cam Armstrong

Adrian Papaluca and Cameron Armstrong were the joint winners of the 2007 O. J. Meehan Medal for the Best and Fairest Player in D4.

They both polled 29 votes to win by 11 votes from Richard Baker of Albert Park. Papa polled in 11 matches, including 6 Best on Ground, and Cam polled in 11 matches with 7 Best on Ground.
