SEASON 2015 AT ST MARY'S SALESIAN
Rd 18: SAINTS IMPRESSIVE OVER OGGERS
Two strong wins for SMS leading into their finals campaign next weekend. St. Marys Salesian played good cohesive footy to beat Old Geelong by 26 points at Ferndale Park, Glen Iris. The same two clubs will again play-off in the elimination First Semi-Final next Saturday. SMS Reserves had to work hard to overcome a determined Old Geelong by 11 points. The Twos will play Prahran Assumption in the (early) elimination First Semi-Final on Saturday. > Match Reports
Rd 17: SAINTS CHALLENGED BY TWO BLUES
A mixed day for SMS. After being in control for most of the afternoon St. Marys Salesian held off a strong comeback by Prahran Assumption to win by two goals at Toorak Park, Armadale. Prahran Assumption Reserves played the better football and deservingly beat SMS by 15 points. Consequently, the Twos have dropped to third place and will almost certainly miss out on the 'double-chance.' Finally, Monash Blues Thirds proved too good for St. Marys Salesian and won the (elimination) First Semi-Final by a comfortable margin of 53 points at Frearson Oval, Clayton. > Match Reports
Rd 16: SAINTS BEAT PANTHERS TO CLINCH FINALS BERTH.

A close to full strength SMS Reserves thrashed seriously undermanned bottom team Old Mentonians by in excess of 200 points. After trailing by 32 points at orange time, St. Marys Salesian put in a superb come from behind last term to overcome North Old Boys/St. Patricks by 11 points at Alec Gillon Oval, Brunswick.
